Over the past five years while OSU has chosen to fight survivors, revelations have come to light regarding the actions of Dr. Richard Strauss, a former university-employed physician. The survivors have shown immense bravery in sharing their traumatic experiences, shedding light on the long-standing issue of sexual abuse that occurred within the confines of your esteemed institution. It is crucial to recognize and appreciate their courage in coming forward and immediately stop the abuse OSU has chosen to continue, as it takes immense strength to confront such painful memories as survivors.

We implore the Board of the Ohio State University to show leadership and make this matter an urgent priority. The survivors have endured immeasurable pain, and it is the responsibility of the university to alleviate their suffering, facilitate their healing process, and create a safer environment for future generations.
